Black Sunflower Seeds are a particular favourite of tits, finches and many other wild garden birds. Naturally rich in oils, they provide essential energy to help support healthy feathers and strong beaks all year round.
Known for their unusually thin shells, Black Sunflower Seeds are easier for smaller birds to crack open and enjoy the nutritious kernel inside. High in energy, fibre, protein, and essential vitamins and minerals, they are a nourishing and versatile addition to any feeding routine.
If you’re concerned about mess from discarded husks, we also provide Sunflower Hearts as a husk-free alternative. Our Black Sunflower Seeds are sorted to 99% purity to remove the majority of stalks. While you may still find a small amount within the bag, these will be ignored by garden birds and cause no harm.

Pricing Update: Due to rising paper costs and the need to ship our paper bags in protective boxes to prevent damage and support more environmentally responsible packaging, a small price increase has been applied to reflect higher material, packaging, and handling expenses.
Poor weather has caused one of the worst sunflower crops in Europe in over 10 years, resulting in higher prices and the average sunflower seed being smaller in size. While seed size may vary, the nutritional value remains unchanged.

Storage:
We recommend storing your bird food in an airtight container in a cool and dry location to keep it fresh for as long as possible. The paper bags are not designed for long-term storage.
