Water is pumped from the hidden reservoir, onto the leaf where it then overflows into the main bowl. Once the feature has been filled with water there is no need to keep refilling, however it will need to be topped up periodically due to natural effects like evaporation.
It is supplied with a solar powered pump with a remote panel and a 3 metre cable.
