Manufactured by the Wildlife and Birdcare Nature Recovery Project (CIC), a non-profit organization, the Kent Bat Box is designed to the specifications recommended by the Bat Conservation Trust. This roost is intended to help conserve these amazing creatures by providing a safe resting place in your garden.
Bats are fascinating to observe as they emerge at dusk during the summer months, darting about in search of food, water, and shelter. However, please note that bats are a protected species, and the nest box should only be inspected by experts.
This rustic, double-chambered bat box offers three distinct nesting areas. Two are located within the front chambers, while a third crawl space cavity sits at the rear of the box, created once it is mounted. The box is designed to remain in position for several years and should not be disturbed. Observing for bats emerging at dusk is a delight when checking for occupancy. Additionally, the box is self-cleaning in design.
