The Ladybird Tower is made from natural air dried FSC certified timber logs and fits in perfectly with the natural wildlife environment, adding an element of rustic charm to it's surroundings.
This attractive looking tower is originally designed by Wildlife World and features a hollow central core, filled with straw for insulation and security, for the ladybirds and other insects to shelter in.
To encourage the attraction of ladybirds to your tower, you can smear ladybird food on the entrance holes. Ladybirds usually consume plant-eating insects, such as aphids, however they are known to enjoy moistened raisins or other sweet non-acidic fruit. For a special treat, add a bit of jelly to their feed.
