This London Squirrel Resistant  Peanut Butter Feeder is a compact feeder which makes it ideal for feeding your birds in a small garden or patio area whilst the strong, squirrel resistant cage which surrounds the internal peanut butter jar holder has been designed with small gaps that only your small, garden birds can fit through, allowing them to peacefully feed from the nutritious bird food inside without the risk of being disturbed by larger birds or greedy squirrels.

With a hinged lid this bird peanut butter feeder is easy to fill (without dismantling) with one Peanut Butter for Birds Jar before easily being hung up ready for its first hungry visitors using the squirrel repellent feeders attached metal handle to hang from a branch, hook or feeding station.

Apart from the rare but occasional small, juvenile squirrel, the bird food inside this feeder will be reserved for your friendly wild birds including; robins, blue tits, finches, great tits and house sparrows, and to ensure it remains safe for these lovely birds to use you should clean out the feeder regularly (every 8-10 weeks) which can easily be done with the London feeders as they can be fully dismantled so that every area of this suet feeder can be properly washed and cleansed.

The London squirrel resistant peanut butter feeder has been constructed from powder coated steel with small metal bars for your feeding birds to perch onto whilst feeding, as well as drainage holes in the base to stop the build up of rain water, and this peanut butter for birds feeder has been finished in a weather proof green coating which helps this modern bird feeder to fit into any style of garden.

If you garden birds prefer the taste of Flutter Butter then you will be happy to know that this feeder is compatible with one Flutter Butter Jar which can be simply placed on the holder inside this feeder squirrel proof cage.

*A Note On Squirrel Protection

This feeder can only protect against adult grey squirrels and large adult birds. Some birds may not fit through the bars but could manage to get their head into the feeder.  Adolescent young squirrels could squeeze into the feeder due to their flexibility. The young squirrels look very similar to adults. This is a temporary seasonal issue.

You may also find that adolescent jackdaws, crows and pigeons may find their way in. The bars on these feeders cannot be made smaller to protect from adolescent or red squirrels as this would pose a risk to the birds.

A deterrent of chilli flakes mixed in with the nuts or seeds will deter the squirrels whilst being completely harmless to the birds.
