Pest Free Squirrel Proof Seed Feeder

When squirrels or larger adult birds attempt to access the feeder, the ports automatically close, preventing them from using it. This cutting-edge feeder boasts a range of fantastic features:

This feeder can hold up to 1.6 kg of regular seed or 1.4 kg of sunflower chips. The polycarbonate tube keeps the contents dry, and the perspex baffle deters squirrels while shielding the feeding birds from rain and other elements.

The base can be easily removed and reattached by using the metal push buttons for cleaning.

To ensure the feeder can work as designed, please make sure it is positioned at least 46cm away from any other feeder or point where a squirrel could cling to and reach across from. Ideally, site the feeder at least 2m away from trees, shrubs and other cover that cats may use to pounce from.

A note on Squirrel Protection*

* Although this feeder is squirrel and large bird proof we cannot guarantee that the juvenile squirrels and  younger large birds which are far more agile and lighter than the adult species wont be able to activate the ports.  Juveniles and young are more of a problem during the Spring and Summer months.
