Polaris Nest Box

The Polaris Bird Nesting Box is a striking, high-quality birdhouse featuring a beautiful green and natural oak color scheme. This attractive nest box has a tall, sharp roof and a distinctive medium oak and sage green color palette. One removable panel on the back allows for easy cleaning of the nest box, which is recommended annually.

Measuring 32mm, the Polaris hole size is perfect for smaller birds like blue tits and wrens. Each box comes equipped with a metal hanger for convenient tree or fence mounting. Crafted from 18mm larch sourced from sustainably managed British forests, this durable nest box will stand the test of time and develop a beautiful patina over the years.

All made in Stoke-on-Trent by Wildlife and Birdcare Nature Recovery Project (CIC) a not for profit organisation that not only help to save the crisis of nature, but are also a licensed training provider for SEN colleges to support young people with autism or additional needs leaving college to secure jobs their future. 

To properly maintain a nest box:

• Position it in a shaded area, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Mount the box at least 3 meters above ground.
• Clean the interior annually between September and January when unoccupied. The back panel can be detached for easy access during cleaning. Use only boiling water to sanitise the nest box.
