Encourage this stunning songbird into your garden with this blackbird nester.

The Blackbird Nester has been designed by naturalist Simon King, with the Blackbird's behaviour and characteristics in mind.  Blackbirds are extremely territorial and the site they choose for their nest is crucial to thier breeding success.  This nester is perfect for a nesting pair of Blackbirds.

The nester will attract blackbirds but it may also be used by other garden birds such as robins, wagtails and spotted flycatchers.

Lightweight and easy to hang, with a strong frame and natural draining platform.

Site on a vertical surface, such as a shed, fence, post or tree.  Birds like secluded quiet areas to nest.  Blackbirds tend to nest from 1.5m to 3m off the ground.  Robins may use the platform if it is well hidden in vegetation or in an open shed or other structure. Spotted flycatchers tend to nest higher off the ground under the eve of a building or in an ivy-clad tree

Dimensions: 200 x 155 x 160 mm
