Swissinno Smart Feeder Light Blue - Rodent Proof

The ingeniously designed Swissinno bird feeder prevents rodent infestations by keeping the food accessible only to birds. Birdseed that falls to the ground can attract rats and mice, providing them with a reliable food source and increasing their population. However, this feeder's features address that issue.

The seed catcher tray catches any spilled food, preventing it from reaching the ground and becoming a rodent attractant. The feeder tray also doubles as a feeding platform, allowing various bird species to enjoy the contents. Drainage holes in the tray prevent waterlogging, and the entire structure shelters the food from rain.

When installed properly, the feeder's design prevents squirrels from accessing the contents. The plastic-coated steel hanger requires no assembly - simply hang it up. For best results, position the feeder away from any surfaces a rodent use as a jumping platform, such as a fence or the feeder may not be an effective deterrant.

This feeder accommodates a variety of food types, including sunflower seeds and hearts, seed mixes, and peanut granules. However, we strongly recommend emptying the spill tray daily to maintain hygiene.
