Wildlife World Boxwell Ground Feeder and Drinker

Part of Wildlife World's Vintage Garden Collection, the Boxwell Feeder & Drinker boasts a charmingly rustic spade handle for ease of movement, also acting as a perch for many birds to assess their surroundings. The robust lip stands around the base of the ground feeder and provides generous room for several birds to land at once; it can also be used as a ledge for smaller mammals (such as Hedgehogs) to reach over and access the food/water. 

When used as a feeder, it is suitable for a wide range of wild animal food types, including Seed Mixes, Peanut Granules, Suet Products, Dried Mealworms and Hedgehog food. The Boxwell feeder will ideally hold up to 2-3 days worth of food to ensure the supply remains fresh. We recommend cleaning the Boxwell Feeder and Drinker regularly to prevent the spread of common diseases among the local bird population.

Siting:

It's best to site this drinker and feeder on a stable and level surface, such as a border, patio or on the lawn. We recommend siting the Boxwell somewhere in your line of sight so you can monitor the feed/water levels and enjoy watching the local wildlife use it. The attractive handle on the feeder or drinker make placing and moving the product very easy. 

Maintenance:

The stunning all-metal design makes the Boxwell easy to clean. Periodically removing old and mouldy food or refreshing water and sanitising with a good wash ensures good hygiene is maintained.
