£7.49Get ready to catch the eyes of your human and feathered garden guests alike with this sophisticated Multi-Bird Next Box. The versatility and large nesting space of this shelter ensured that it will be used by a variety of garden birds, including Blue Tits, Great Tits and Sparrows. The quirky and eccentric triangular shape of this bird shelter provides plenty of room for birds seeking sanctuary while also creating an elegant decorative feature.
The stainless steel hole protector aids to prevent predatory attacks to our feathered friends as larger birds/predators cannot gnaw their way through an unprotected hole. The whole top front triangular panel of the box can be removed to make an open nester for Robins, Wagtails and Spotted Flycatchers. Alternativery, you can double this shelter as an open wall feeder by leaving the front panel off. We recommend frequent cleaning of the next box if you plan to feed here too.
Features:
- 32mm entrance hole
- Stainless steel hole protector
- Front triangular base can be removed for easy cleaning
- Made from naturally durable FSC certified timber
- Stunning pale grey coloured roof
Siting:
In the UK, the ideal siting position is facing East, although SE and NE are also suitable. Siting the box in these directions will help to enire the box is sheltered from rain and strong sunlight. Site this bird box on a tree, wall, fence or building at least 1.5-2m above ground for the best stability and protection. We recommend siting away from easy access by cats and other predators.
Maintenance:
Dirty bird boxes can be potentially hazardous to our local bird population. Use a screwdriver to remove the front screw and open the front of the box for easy access to clean annually. We recommend cleaning nest boxes at the end of the nesting season (September-October).
Dimensions:
Height: 34.5cm
Length: 18.5cm
Width: 16.6cm
Width (including roof panels): 23.2xm
