Wildlife World Hedgehog Retreat

The Hedgehog Retreat from Wildlife World supports our local Hedgehog population as our spikey friends often seek shelter from the various threats they face day-to-day. Providing a shelter specially designed for Hedgehogs is the safest option as they will often conceal themselves under bonfires, composts heaps and other life-threatening locations. 

It is estimated that we lose around 25% of our friendly Hedgehog population every year. Their unfortunate and steep population decline is caused by a variety of threats they face daily, such as: an absence of safe habitats, road deaths, bonfires, garden tools, poinsonous slug pellets and modern agricultural techniques.

This Hedgehog Retreat provides the perfect shelter, designed with a natural-looking wicker, this retreat blends into any natural wildlife environment. Featuting a sturdy, rustproof steel frame with an FSC certified waterproof lining, this Hedgehog shelter is longlasting and will also protect our spikey friends from harsh weathers. The integrated predator defence tunnel gives a unique look to this shelter while also preventing larger predators from accessing the protected Hedgehogs. 

Your hedgehog might appreciate this house being tucked under a hedge in a quiet and sheltered spot, providing them plenty of shelter, particularly during the winter months.
