Developed in conjunction with TV's naturalist and wildlife cameraman Simon King, he's gained many years of knowledge observing and photographing wildlife, he knows this natural looking nester is a great addition to your garden for attracting wild birds.
The Simon King Cabin design features both an open entrance door and a secluded nest space behind the sidewall. In addition to nesting, small birds may use the cabin as a shelter from harsh weather or predators. In finding cover, they can save essential body fat which aids their survival.
A metal frame gives the cabin strength, and the roof has a cosy liner. The rattan landing platform & low wall provides the divide between the entrance and roosting or nesting space.
Simon King says, “I would position your Cabin Nester between half a metre and three metres high for most species, unless it is for spotted flycatchers which will need it a little higher still. You can position it in a shrub, a bush, up against a fence or an ivy-clad wall.” The Nester comes with loop of wire to allow you to fix it into position.
Dimensions: 15.5 x 29 x 15 cm
